I know that there was a problem with the original release of Outlook '03
repeatedly downloading the same POP3 messages from a remote server. I
applied SP1 to fix this issue. It worked briefly and now the problem is
back. Is anyone else having a similar issue?

Thanks,
Sean

Does Outlook download your messages or is this handled by an (integrated)
virusscanner/anti-spamtool?

Yes -- one of my associates is having this same problem. How do you fix this?

Norton antivirus scans incoming and outgoing messages

Disable this integration and see if it still occurs.
