Hi Guys,

We had a major malfunction with a network drive is there anyway to look in
some properties somewhere in a 2000 database to see when the database has
been updated, I need more than the date that is available in explorer. I
need a list of all the dates data was entered. I suspect that data has been
entered into both databases at different times.

Thanks,
Linda

Unless you have date/time fields in the database tables into which you
are recording the date that records were updated, you're out of luck.
Access does not keep track.

You might want to get Total Access Detective from
http://www.fmsinc.com - it's designed to compare two databases and
report the differences. It won't tell you which record was updated
first and which second (since that information simply does not exist,
unless you put it there) but it will at least identify the
discrepancies.

$299! I wonder if our IS department has this stuff. I'll ask them. Thanks
for the solution.
