When I dial-up my ISP, the message is "Error 31: a device attached to the
system is not funtioning" and the call is dropped. This seems to be an XP
System error. It's not a modem or ISP problem; both have been checked and
tested. I've tried installing a new modem with a new set of drivers... I got
the same result with the same error message. And, I have no trouble dialing
up and logging into my ISP with a different computer. How do I troubleshoot
and correct the problem? Please advise. Thanks. Vince

I wonder if this is related to my error:720. I hope somebody finds a solution
as I've been suffering this problem for several weeks and overcome it by
going to a previous restore point. It only happens when I need to change my
lan settings from broadband to networking.
