Windows XP Dumping in process- What does this mean

I have XP and sometimes I will on my puter and instantly pops up so quickly barely able to read it "dumping in process" and shuts down and then I reboot and is okay until the next time it does it. Sometimes it will reboot itself and others I have to reboot. Any info on this? TUIA

its usually dumping information about your system into file because your system has crashed or has an error
