WINDOWS XP...

When I reboot my system the system32 folder is displayed.
How do I stop it.

It's possible that a shortcut to this folder is in your
startup group. Click on your start button then go into
programs, then into startup... if you see it in there then
you will know why... You should be able to delete it out
of there.

Check for invalid entries in the PATH variable.

Type PATH at a command prompt and see if there are any references to
non-existant folders.

Greetings --

This can be caused by a blank entry, such as can be left behind by
an incomplete program removal, in the
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and/or
HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run keys.
