Dumb question about Raid1 and dual-boot

Hi guys, I'm thinking about replacing my old pentium with a new machine
(probably a Dell Dimension 9200 with a Core 2 Duo) that will have a Raid 1;
so here's the dumb question: can I install a dual-bool (WinXP Pro + Vista)
on a Raid 1 without any problem?

Also, do you know if I will have trouble using Ghost or Acronis True Image
to work on this Raid 1?

The sys will see the raid1 as a single disk and as such will operate just
the same as if you only had a single disk.
True Image operates fine with raid
Using a raid mirror is not an alternative to a backup.
If you have a hw failure and need to replace the raid controler (mobo) it
can be that the origonal array will no longer function. It depends on the
make & version of the controler used.

Yes, I know that a raid is not an alternative to a backup but with three
personal hard drive crashes in my life, it will help reducing the amount of
stress when I'm on a deadline.
