I have bought second-hand system model TD-225 Intergraph.
In which One processor Pentium II 300 Mhz was present and
was a slot for another processor. I have bought a new
Pentium II 300 Mhz processor and insert into it. First
Windows Xp Professional detect it but after restart when
Windows Xp boot and its bar complete System restarts. And
each time it do like this. But when I plug out one
processor it runs smoothly.
I want to run both processors.
Tell me what to do?

Greetings --

Those old Intergraph motherboards are very, very fussy about the
CPUs. If the two CPUs aren't from the same manufacturing lot number,
you may not get them to work together. Also, and I may be wrong here
as I've no seen one of those machines for a couple years, isn't there
a "terminator" card that needs to be inserted along with the second
CPU?

Do they still have those connectors on new motherboards. In fact is weitek
still making them. Seems Weitek has changed ownership a couple of times and
does not make co processors any more.
