dual operating systems

some how I have managed to have two versions of windows xp installed on my
dell. I have to choose which one I want to use when I start up. I dont know
how I did this but I don't want two XP,s. Please can anyone lead me through
the steps to rid myself of one of these operating systems? I am not what you
would call computer-brain literate. thanks.
