Hi all,
Computer setup:
3DLabs Wildcat VP870 video card
Windows XP o/s
dual monitors

On 1 monitor I have the taskbar with the start menu. On 2nd monitor I used
to have the taskbar, but closed it. Now if I have a program running the the
second monitor, I cannot tell because I do not have a taskbar on that
monitor.

Does anybody know how I can get that back?

Thanks
Roger S

Hey Roger,

I use a duel monitor setup as well, though I'm using a
different video card, so your duel monitor setting with
your video card will be different than mine.

Any try going to your monitor settings to see if you have
your monitor settings on extend monitor one or whether you
have cloned monitor one.

If you clone monitor one then you will see the same thing
on monitor 2. If extended, then open your program on
monitor one and drag the open window onto monitor 2. I use
extend monitor 1 to monitor 2, so I can drag all kinds of
open windows over to monitor 2 while doing things on
monitor one.

You can also extend an open window so that it uses both
monitors, which is real handy when using a program that
has lots of little windows open that cover over each
other, like recording programs or photoshop. Good luck!

See ya, Christopher
