Dual Monitor Issues

We are implementing terminal server (Windows 2003) to eliminate bandwidth problems in our WAN environment with over thousand remote users. Everything is ready but one road blocker stopping this project going alive.

Currently, our users are using dual screens/monitors computers. Users launch one application, and select certain PDF file to view. The application occupies one screen and the other screen (slave) just displays the selected PDF file. We using Pivot software to make the second screen vertical, so it will display the entire letter size page

Now, we are able to run this application in Terminal Server environment correctly, but we could not use both screens/monitors as they are in the non-terminal server environment

We have been searching for the solutions for months and could not find a way to resolve this issue

Is it possible to make an RDP/terminal session with 768x2048 resolution? The local PC has this resolution, which is two 768x1024 screens combined. When connect to terminal server, the RDP session could only go for 768x1600. We need 768x2048

Thank you in advance

RDP 5.x supports a maximum resolution of 1200x1600 and does NOT support dual-monitors. You can check ICA, but I don't think Citrix supports dual monitors either, but don't quote me on that

I would save the money on the MS support call, because TS simply
doesn't support this, as Patrick stated.
The session window itself can be stretched across multiple
monitors if it is not in Full Screen mode but it does not support
multiple monitors within the session.

But I believe it is with Citrix. Haven't tried this myself, but
saved this post from alt.os.citrix:

I tried it an it was pretty easy. I've just configured the local
desktop for 2 Monitors and now an can resize the application
Windows over both monitors as I like. For me it looks like i have
one 2048 x 768 monitor.

Do you know if a multimonitor environment is supported with Windows Server 2003

No. Server hardware has nothing to do with the features on the
client. All devices used on the server are virtual devices. It's
perfectly possible to have audio redirection from the server to the
client, without a sound card in the server.
