Dual Monitor (displays)

Hi,

windows XP with two screen (extended desktop)
works just fine...

I want to know if it is possible to have apps start by default on the second
monitor and how to do this.

Such as having outlook open up on screen two by default. (or any other apps)

Thanks

How? Could you please elaborate on how one would do this as I clearly can not
find said option...

IT depends on the apps themselves, and possibly your video card's special
features.

I find that Outlook 2003 remembers its postition - mine opens up on
secondary monitor just fine.

In Display Properties | Settings | Advanced button, look for a tab with the
video card maker's added features. There may be some option to set the
display assigned to various programs. I recall there being such with NVidia
cards, but I don't have one of those set up on a dual monitor now to check
the specifics.
