Dual Homed Domain Controller DNS Issues

A

Arc J. Thames

I have a domain controller that has 2 NIC's in it and is also running DNS.
One of the NIC's is connected to our production LAN, the other is connected
to our back-up network that we use to run backups on the servers. I have
gone into the NIC properties on the backup LAN and told it not to register
itself in DNS, however it still puts a record in it's own DNS for that
backup NIC. Does anyone know of a way to stop this? The backup NIC is not
on our production LAN so therefore if somebody resolves to that IP, they
can't connect. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
