dual heads -- different colour profile for each?

Dear expert users:
I am working with ATI RADEON 7500 which allows the use of dual heads. For
purposes of color management, I need to assign two different colour profiles
(one for each of the two monitors). This setting can be accessed from
Display Properties > Settings> Advanced > Color Management where you can add
profiles and make one of them the default.
As things stand, every times I select one of the two monitors (under
"Settings") and assign it a profile (under "Color Management"), it changes
the other monitor to the same profile.
The people at ATI assure me that this is an Operating System issue and not a
video card issue. They also assure me that the card (RADEON 7500) is capable
of doing what I want, if windows is somehow set appropriately.
Anybody has suggestions? Or anyone met the same issue?

i am no "expert" but perhaps you need to set each monitor to there own
settings. on second thinking,get another radeon and it should be solved. Or
setup 2 user profiles????
