Dual hard drives

I have a Dual Bois motherboard and 2 hard drives. All has been working
great for a year. When I would open My Computor, It showed C: and F:
drives. F being the old drive from a previous computer and I used it
for storage only. I just notice a few days ago that the F: drive isn't
seen in My Computer any more. I can go to Control panel>Admin>Device
manager> disk drives and see both. But in Disc Manager it only shows
the C; drive and my DVD roms. They both show in system tools also. Also
went into the Bios settings and can do a 'Detect Hard Drive' and they
both show up same as in System>Device Manager. But know show in Disc
Management. If the hard drive went bad I hope I can get my pictures
from it. As usual didn't backup as I should. I have unplugged both
drives and re booted many times so I could see which was which.

Try power off pc,move the drive(s) to another IDE connection, set jumper
pins accordingly,start pc.

Can it be the Hard drive went bad? The only thing that gets me is it is
I can get it to detect in the BIOS under IDE perifials adn it shows up
in Systen Device manager. I have unplugged it then check devices and it
wasn;t there so I verified the hard drive in Bios and system. But in the
System disc management it isn't there or on MY Computer. I did change
out a bad DVDrecorder last week and it works good, 1 of 2 DVD. Do know
if it happened at same time. I also tried to restore back a month with
no help. Just hope I didn't loose all my not backed up pics of drive.
