Dual Display, Setting Primary Monitor

Having a bit of trouble here:

I have an IBM Lenovo notebook, in a docking station, with an LCD
monitor attached to the docking station via VGA cable. I'd like to set
the LCD as the primary monitor. When I go into Display Properties |
Settings and click on the secondary display, I cannot select "Use this
device as the primary monitor" (it is greyed out). Any suggestions?
