Dual CPU

I added another PCU to my 2000 server, the BIOS
acknowledged 2 CPUs, but the OS only see one. DO I need
to re-install the OS.

No, you need to change the system HAL in device manager to one that is
dual-processor enabled.

How do you change the system HAL? Is it the hal.dll file
in the ACPI? And if so, where do you get another hal?

you do this in device manager. I beleive the HAL is in the 1st hardware
type grouping.
