Windows 2000 one dual processors

howdy all,

We're running Win 2000 Server on a old Compaq box with a Pentium II 450, and
it's equipped to accept a second CPU.

I have never run a dual CPU box.

If I add a processor, what else would I need to do to get the OS to utilize
both CPUs?

Also, I was told that the processors didn't have to match speed exactly. Is
this true?

Thanks!
