Dual Core- Flight simulator 2004/FS9

I have read on other forums that you can make FS use both cores, however
following the instructions i have recieved a message saying: "The process
must have affinity with at least one processor", please tell me if im doing
something wrong, or there is another way of doing it, the original post is:
