Dual bott XP Home to XP Home

hey gus, i have recently been trying to dual boot 2 (xp home)'s wikthout any
success. I have 2 HDD's and here are its specs.
My Maxtor 120GB HDD (The one i am trying to boot with but no luck)

The problem i am having s that-
+I boot from the XP Boot disk
+It install fine and reboots as norml
+Now at the start up the is a boot screen asking which XP
i wanted, this only stays up for about half a second and goes into the one
that was highlighted (which so happens to be the one that i am trying to
install) but sits at a blank screen.
+Just sits at a blank screen
+I restart from the first point but still doesnt work.

I would really appreciate you help guys. i am trying to start up a website
that deals with money and Digital animation, but this is running slow on the
HDD that i have now thanks to the processes running on it like Coldfusion MX
7.

Thanks for the reply, but this doesn't help me install Windows XP Home on
another HDD. Sorry, it doesn't explain the blank screen.

Can you boot into the other WinXP installation?

Yes i can boot into it but it sits at a blank screen disallowing me to
continue installing XP on it.

Pegasus \(MVP\)

It seems your existing WinXP installation is damaged. Before you
can do anything with your new installation, you may have to repair
that existing installation. The usual steps are:

1. Press F8 during the early boot phase, then select "Last known
good configuration". If this does not work then
2. Press F8 during the early boot phase, then select "Safe Mode".
If this does not work then
3. Boot the machine with your WinXP CD, then select Repair.

If this was my PC then I would use a third-party boot manager
in order to provide for complete separation of the two OSs.
Some excellent ones are free.
