Dual Booting

I just bought a second hard drive and i was wondering if
i could dual boot with an existing windows xp drive.
Would simply changing the install directory during
installation of Windows 2000 still allow XP to boot?
 
You did not say where you wish to locate your two
operating systems, and if you want the XP drive to
be visible when running Win2000. You might also
face some issues with your XP boot files, depending
on the approach you take.
