dual boot requires 2 hard drives on the same computer.
Absolute nonsense.
it is not recommended
to have 2 operarting systems on one harddrive.
"Not recommended" by whom, precisely? As long as each operating system
is installed to it's own separate partition, there is absolutely no
problem with having multiple operating systems on a single hard drive.
when you re-install windows
on a secondary harddrive, windows will create a dual boot menu, (boot.ini).
you can see the boot ini file via the msconfig (start>run>msconfig) or you
can search for it and open it up with your notepad....
And just where did the OP say that she was interested in using only
Microsoft operating systems, much less any version of Windows?
