Dual boot to single boot

How can I turn a dual boot into a single boot, without data loss. I
don't mind the loss of that small section that can't be used. Someone
said there is a file that can be edited to make the dual boot screen go
away.

Hi again,

......... I have the dual boot screen, but only find one copy of Windows
on machine.

That's not as odd as it might at first seem. More than likely there was
an installation that was aborted sometime in the past. You'll just need
to fix the boot.ini and be good to go, hopefully.
