dual boot xp/xp hangs on orignal xp boot

Good day,

My first physical drive is partition in 3 partitions:

Drive C (30gb) (original xp)
Drive D (100gb) (misc storage)
Drive E (30gb) (was blank)

second physical drive(s) RAID 0
Drive F

I installed the second XP on the E drive and correctly loaded the SATA
drivers...

I can boot to the second XP and all works fine now.

Problem is that I cannot boot to the original XP disk IF my Drive F is
powered.

Any thoughts.

1) Why is there only one physical drive in RAID 0 mode?
2) Is the RAID controller on the motherboard or is it on an
expansion card?
3) Are all the HDs SATA, or is there a mix? Which are
SATA and which are PATA?
4) Which HD is at the head of the BIOS's HD boot order?
5) Which partition is marked "active" on each HD?
6) What are the contents of the boot.ini files on the 2
partitions which contain a WinXP OS?
7) Are all the partitions Primary partitions?
