Dual Boot x64 Trial

I am trying to dual boot Windows XP x64 on my computer. I recently upgraded
my MB and Processor to 64 bit. I have a WD Raptor Drive (72G 10,00 RPM SATA)
that I have partitioned into 2 35Gb (approx) partitions.

I loaded XP home on one and it ran fine. Then I loaded x64 on the other and
I couldn't get XP home to boot even though I saw the files on my D partition.
I reloaded XP Home on the D partition and FINALLY got the dual boot option
(where it prompts for which OS to load) and when I selected x64 it wouldn't
boot. It said the "ntoskernal" was corrupt. That is clearly over my head.
Help!

I would seriously suggest that you invest in a 3rd party boot manager
(e.g. BootIt NG). The NT (and Vista) bootlaoders are a can of worms, IMO.

Thank you. That actually helped. It suggested loading 32 bit first (which I
did) but mentioned that they did a repair install instead. I plugged the x64
disk back in, did a repair install, and have both running well.
