dual boot vista

Tim Draper

i'm currently pushign hauppauge to get me on their alpha/beta testers
list for 64bit versions.

i'd also like to test out 64bit vista too.
is it possible to dual boot vista from the same physical HDD?
also, if i was to move fully onto either 32/64bit vista and wish to
remove the other install of vista, how would i go about removing the 2nd
install without a drive format? (..if i was to go 64bit vista, how would
i remove 32bit version)

thanks
tim

Yes, you can install 2 operating systems on the same physical hard drive, as
long as they have separate partitions. My second hard drive currently
houses Vista x86 on one partition, and Vista x64 on the other partition.
First hard drive contains XP x64 and an empty partition.

To remove unwanted operating system from a partition - just format that
partition. Use VistaBoot Pro to remove the unwanted OS from the Vista boot
manager.

Make sure you leave the boot files on the system partition, whichever one
that is.

Yes you can dual boot 32bit and 64bit versions. If you only have one hard
drive, then you need two partitions. Of course you also need 64 bit
architecture to run the 64 bit version. I only use 32 bit, but triple boot
using XP Home (C: partition) XP Pro (E: partition) and Vista (F: partition)

As Jane say you should use VistaBootPro to remove the one you don't intend
to use.
