dual boot vista rc1 and xp

hey i have done a clean install of vista rc1

i hadto wipe my xp anyways...
ive been running fine for about 3 weeks but for some things i still want xp.

how do i go about installing xp now? i have dual booted with the beta 2 but i already had xp installed but now if i go ahead and install xp on a second partion will that wipe my mbr? or will the xp boot manager still see vista?

i dont want to go ahead and install xp if its going to leave vista usless...

Tyron,

You need to install XP or older OS first then install Vista, as it always
needs to be oldest first (even Beta2 needs to be installed before RCI and RC1
5600 before 5728 etc...)

From my reading I don't think it will work at all if you have Vista
installed and then try to install an older OS to dual boot.
