Just reinstalled XP on my dual boot system, now have 3
OS's listed on the boot list. How do I remove the extra
OS from the list?

Go to Start > Run and type: MSCONFIG , and hit enter.
Click on the BOOT.INI tab and then click on "Check All Boot Paths"
to delete incorrect boot paths.

hi,
You can do that in 3 ways.
1. As mentioned by Carey Frisch check all boot paths and remove unwanted
entries using msconfig.
2. If you know boot path then you can edit the boot.ini file manually. If
you are an administrator of the system, find out the boot.ini file on you
system drive open it in notepad and remove the unwanted boot entries.
3. From My Computer>>Properties>>Advanced>>Startup and
Recovery>>Settings>>Edit (it opens the boot.ini file, so you can modify the
way you want.)

All the best
