You don't use the XP PPPoE connection software. You do the PPPoE logon at the router. Get rid of the
XP/software PPPoE and put your username and password on the router. The manual for your Linksys
router is on the CD that came with the router. It will tell you how to logon to the router and how
to enable the PPPoE stuff on the router. Also set each PC to "Obtain IP automatically" and you
should be good to go.

| I have 3 computers, a 4 port router from linksys, and a dsl modem. Network
| is fine, but none of the computers can browse. I can log into sites on the
| one computer with a url, but not a text address leaving me to believe the
| DNS is the problem. Tried pinging the DNS entries my service gave me, with
| no luck. Am concerned the dns is somehow "virtual" or something and is only
| accessed by the PPPoE software WindowsXP installs.
|
| Suggestions?
|
| Thankyou in advance...
