Dropped character in reply address

Hi,

Has anyone seen anything like this? Someone sends me an e-mail and their
address is (e-mail address removed) This is their correct address, I reply to it and
they receive the reply.

They then reply to mine, and when I get it, their address has a dropped
character, ie, (e-mail address removed). When I look at the header, it is dropped in
both the "From:" and "Reply To:".

I'm using Outlook 2003 with Exchange Server (SBS 2003). Not sure what their
server is.

Just for this single email? They've simply mistyped their own address when
configuring their client. It will show this when you press the Reply button.
Modify it and notify them about it.

Where is it messed up in their client? My first reply works ok...it is the
second one that doesn't. I'm assuming that they are just "replying" to my
e-mail also.

Yes, it just seems to be for this one person, at this time.

Depends on their client. It could be in the account configuration, it could
be in the "reply to" address settings as well.

Yes, it just seems to be for this one person, at this time.

THEY misspelled their own e-mail address. Not you. So, yes, when you
e-mail them, you are using the correct e-mail address; otherwise, they
would never get it (to then reply to you). THEY will have to fix the
account configured in whatever e-mail client THEY use. You can't do
anything about it. Nothing to do with the mail server. They screwed
up their e-mail address in the account they defined in whatever e-mail
client they use. Send them an e-mail to notify them that they
mispelled their own e-mail address and then move on to something else.
You cannot fix their problem for them.
