Drop Down List Box error

I have a drop down list box that retrieves values from a SQL database.
Column 1 is bound , it contains the users initials, followed by lastname,
first name. On one user's PC, when he selects his name a completely
different value appears in the list box (should be the initials) and he
receives a "not in the list.." error. I have deleted his record in the
table and recreated it but he still receives an error. I have rebuilt the
mde, re-installed access on his pc...still an error.

Any idea?

Just to clarify...when the user selects his initials, XYZ, completely
different text is displayed. This only happens on his name and on his PC.
