this is maybe a dumb question but anyway, I just got windows xp and, for example, on google.com where you type in your search, there will be a menu drop down and will show all the searches you have entered on that website. How do you get rid of that. It does it also when i'm not on the internet. If anyone knows it'll be a great help. thanx.

Well,
not sure if I understand you, but,

try this -
in Internet Explorer,
click Tools / Internet Options

see near bottom right -
"Clear History"
click that.

Q.

it's not under the address bar, it's under where you put your search in. it's like the keywords you put in to find your search.

Hmm...

I don't have that on my Google...

You must have some extra tool or utility installed?

Q.

In IE, go to Tools, Internet Options, Content tab,Auto Complete, Clear
forms...this clears the Google search history (On mine, anyway)...
