Drop Down Boxes

You haven't said which version you're using. I can tell you for 2007, but
don't have an earlier version to play with and find out.

In Word 2007, go to the Developer tab on the ribbon. The second section on
the tab is called "Controls" and the first one on the 2nd row of icons is
"insert drop down list". Click this and then click 'Properties'.

In the dialogue box that appears there is an "Add..." button. Click this to
add each of the items you want on the list. If you want them to appear in a
different order, you can move them up and down the list. Click OK when
you're done.
