drivespace and xp

Is there anyway to uncompress a zip disk that was
compressed in win 98 (No longer using) while using xp? If
not, can I load 98 on my xp without causing to many
problems? I really need to decompress this disk.

Hi Rican,

No, different type of compression used by drivespace, WinXP cannot
decompress it. You will need to do this in a Win98 system.

To dual-boot (even temporarily), you will need to install Win98 into a
different partition or separate hard drive, use the steps here:

Also, the compressed file will need to be on a FAT32 partition, if it is
housed on an NTFS partition, a Win98 installation will not be able to access
it (Win98 cannot read an NTFS partition).
