drives E and F missing

i have a new dvd burner in F and a new cd/dvd rom in E but the computer
doesn't show this in my computer.
 
Do they show in the computer's BIOS?

If not, check the cables and power connections.
If so, check Device Manager (Start...Control Panel...System...Hardware)
Also, check Disk Management (Start...Control Panel...Adminitrative
Tools...Computer Management...Storage...Disk Management).
