Drivers not found for USB Hardware.

I am using XP Home SP2 and I am having problems with USB connections
showing up under "Removable Disk". Device Manger and Hardware Wizzard
asks for drivers but OEM (Cruzer flash drive, digital cameras, etc.)
state none are required for XP. Is some XP file corrupt? - these devices
work fine in other computer systems. Note: system did find printer okay.

Lawrence in San Francisco says I have no usb devices. How can I reinstall?
My Floppy (3.5) Won't refresh. I installed serv pack 2. Could this be the
problem? Should I reinstall XP. I get warning messages about doing this. I
am just realizing all this because I installed a USB wireless mouse. It
wouldn't work. My 8 int one memory reader won't work & and old HP usb mouse
isn't working. Thanks for any help. This has been going on for months and I
just thought my individual devices were bad. I checked Device Manager and
couldn't find any reference to USB anything.........Thanks again.........
