Drivers for HP monitor missing >.<

Ok.. I did something totally STUPID. I got a new computer
for Christmas and it had XP on it... Now I know this might
offend some but I hate XP. When I open a folder instead of
letting me go right to what I want it presents a big list
of 'are you sure this isnt what you want' and 'how about i
do this action' type stuff. Made me feel like it was
talking down to me So I installed a copy of 2000 Server
on it...
Now in doing so I acedentally wiped the entire partition
and now my monitor drivers are gone and I'm forced to
write this using 640x480 rez and only 16 colors.

if ANYONE out there knows how I can fix this without
reinstalling XP please let me know? I've searched far and
wide for the drivers to my hp display (serial# D5258A) and
I've come up with nothing. The windows update yields no
results for even generic VGA drivers.

On a different note.. would whoever took my email address
off this list and is using it to spam people please stop.
I'm getting bounce-back letters and angry mails from
complete strangers. I really dont need this right now.
