Driver updates

There are various programmes available for download which
claim to automatically detect and upgrade all necessary
drivers on a system. Are they any good and if so which
is the best one to use?

Hi Brian

Windows Update will detect the hardware on your system and then offer any driver upgrades for those devices. Personally though, I use the latest hardware drivers from the manufacturer's web site. There may be some 3rd party programs as well, but I haven't tried any of them.
