Driver support

Is there any support for SATA within XPe?
I've got a SATA HD that I need to get XPe onto, and I keep getting blue
screen stop errors when FBA tries to come up

Thanks

Which error code?

That's not likely to be your problem but you need to use the
WinXP driver supplied by the motherboard manufacturer.

You may need to componentize it.

I fugured I'd have to make a component out of it, but thats the problem I'm
having.

I've got a motherboard that has a Intel(R) 82801ER SATA RAID Controller
typically when you install XP pro you have the option to hit F6 to add
additional drives such as SCSI. These drivers are the same way, so with out
them the XP install soesn't see the HD. So here is a list of files on the
floppy.....

iaahci.cat
iaahci.inf
iastor.cat
iastor.inf
iaStor.sys
TXTSETUP.OEM

When I use Component Designer to import the INf file, I get this message....

Info:processing file : C:\IATA\Driver\iastor.inf
Info:C:\IATA\Driver\iastor.inf: type PNP device INF
*** Error ***:C:\IATA\Driver\iastot.inf: An error occurred while getting the
vendors list section name.
Info:Completed processing file [Import succeeded] :
C:\IATA\Driver\iastor.inf

Then over in the right hand sld explorer pane, the components, repositories,
dependencies, packages, repository sets are empty. I assume that aleast
some of these according to the MS tutorials should be populated.

Any Ideas?
