Driver problem for USB

My USB driver is not installed. I have XP Pro SP1 and when
I try to reinstall or update the drivers it comes back
saying drivers are not found. Technet says the drivers are
automatically on the system with SP1.

Please help.

William, with most USB Devices the software for the device should be
installed first. Then WinXP will look for the
drivers in it's own cache or in the software provided. Look in Device
Manager. MyComputer>Properties>Hardware>
Device Manager. See if there are any yellow marks next to your USB
devices. From there you should be able to
upgrade them.
