Windows XP Driver issue

Hmmm

Just installed XPx64

Have not done any updates as yet still in the process as I type.

I tried updating my GFX drivers to x64 everytime I doo this and reboot. Machine freezes. Will not budge upon bootup after the splash screen. I have to boot into Safe mode and do a restore.

Any ideas?

Bios , chipset and all mobo drivers up to date ?

Does your processor support 64bit technology???

Everything upto date.

CPU is dual core x64 4200

Ive let windows do the auto update for me for the card. However not sure how old the driver is and if it is actually 64bit. But the system now boots no problems.....
