driver help

I reinstalled windows on my laptop (ei-systems 3080)and now i cant find anywhere the drivers for the graphics and audio, there dosnt seem to be a site for them, if any1 knows where id be gratfull

The Audio drivers are HERE

The graphics are on-board, do you have the specs there saying what they are, or look in Device Manager.

They are a foreign company that make cheap laptops for Dixons/PC World etc and unfortunately don't have an english language site to help you

thank you, just one thing tho, in system devices there isnt any information on what the graphics are, still a bit stuck but thank for the sound driver

Hi Ukjarvis,
To find out about which graphics driver you need for your laptop:
Right click on the desktop, click Properties, then click on the Settings tab and then on the Advanced tab. Click the tab marked Adapter the driver information can be found next to "Chip Type." Hope this helps.

From what I can see, I think your lappy uses the onboard SiS graphics drivers - it MAY be the SiS650 drivers, in which case get them HERE.

Use the utility Mucks has suggested to check - and if I'm wrong, then just google for the right ones

i downloaded the sis650 drivers and installed them,i restarted the laptop and checked it out unfortunatly there's still no driver installed so this i think this can only mean that the driver is incorrect.

There is a god after all FOUND EM the buggers, it took a while but was lookin at other problems that people have had about ei - systems,and there was a reply saying the only support is at this addresse iv added here

If you want my advice DONT buy an ei systems laptop there a poor choice i wish i researched into them before buying, thanks for all your help and time
