I have a four year old labtop with a basic mobile radeon graphics card.
Yesterday I created a new account on the computer and upon switching to it,
my resolution was cut to a very low number so that the actual amount of
screen being used is 50 %. Also the screen is very blocky and doesnt show
very many colors. The computer gave me a message saying it was a problem with
graphics driver. Everytime i try to switch the resolution in the control
panel the computer shuts off and restarts again. Could someone help me with
my problem?

You will need to reinstall the correct video drivers...

a system restore might do the trick though

How do you do you reinstall drivers if you dont have the disk and how do you
do system restore could you give me more detail on the installing of the
drivers please?

Download them from the device manufacturer's support web site.

and how do you
do system restore ....

By following the specific instructions provided by the computer's
manufacturer. Look in the manual that came with the computer, or
consult the computer manufacturer's support web site.

could you give me more detail on the installing of the
drivers please?

Not unless you provide specific information about the device in
question: such as Make, Model, firmware revision, etc.

:

Download them from the manufacturer's support site. Ensure that you are
downloading the driver installation package for Windows XP.

System restore: Start > Program Files > Accessories > System Tools > System
Restore. Select "Restore my computer to an earlier time" then click next.
Select one of the restore points from the calendar. Note the restore points
have a bold calendar day.
