drive sharing

I have XP professional, upgraded from 98SE. I cannot get
the drive properties box to display the sharing or quota
tab. Is there a way to enable this option? I would like
for the other computer on my home network to be able to
access my hard drive(s) with out having to select each
foler to be shared. Please email me with any advice...

Hi Hundley,

The Disk Quota feature requires NTFS. Since your Windows XP install was an
upgrade from Windows 9X, your drive format is probably Fat32.

Regarding the Sharing tab, be sure to check that Simple File Sharing is
