For some reason my computers second hard drive root folder is a music folder. It has the watermark picture of a note at the bottom right etc.

How can I remove this setting???

I can change all the other folders on the computer, but on toor drives the right click option "customise this folder" isnt there so i cant fix it. Using the "apply to all folders" button from a different folder with the correct setting doesnt work either!

Thanks for any advice

The folder type setting is stored in the registry, sometimes it becomes mismatched. Open a folder. Click Tools, Folder Options, View, Reset All Folders. Note that this also resets the customizations for all the folders. If you want to do it only for the C:\ folder, you may need to use Process Explorer or Regmon. See this URL for more information:

Many thanks. Solved the problem straight away. I didnt install the software recomended by the site, instead chosing to find the correct folder myself. As only 2 were set to music, this was easy!

Thanks again
