Drive Mapping Issue

I have a user with a mapped drive to \\server\sharefolderA and I'm trying to map a drive to \\server\sharefolderB\sharefolderB1. When I try to map this second drive which is on the same server, it tells me that I already have a drive connected to this point and that if I want to map this drive, to disconnect the others. Any ideas on why I'm getting this?
