Drive Letters Missing in Windows Explorer (WIN XP)

I originally installed Windows XP home on my Dell P3-1000. Later I upgraded to to XP Pro and now I cannot see any mapped drives in my home network. I have seen some articles in the Knowledge Base concerning the fact that Windows XP Home cannot see mapped drive letters. Is there anyway to correct this issue now that I have upgraded to XP Pro? Hopefully there is a way to do this without formatting the drive.
 
Have you re-mapped the drives in Explorer and told it to reconnect at logon?
