Drive access problems

I cannot access my D or E drives. Icon shows up under my computer but data
does not come up. Drivers of both drives are up to date and device driver
shows no problem. Dell tells me it is a software issue so will not help me
out. Microsoft will not help me because I bought it from Dell. Catch 22.
 
just reinstall windows as a last resort, if that works then you drives should
be fine unless its a raid.
