Greetings All;
I have that dreaded "Yellow Text" issue when I convert any plain text email
into HTML using Office 2K7 B2. I've not seen this in previous versions of
Outlook.

I have tried switching from "Blank" to "None" and nothing works.
It appears from reading all previous posts on this topic that switching from
Blank to None seems to have fixed some peoples issues.

Obviously, if MS is installing "Themes" features throughout Office, and they
continue to cause unpredictable results, then someone may want to have a look
at them.

I'm sitting here with yellow text, waiting for a suggestion.

Fixing the Dreaded Yellow Text problem - Outlook 2007

Go to Tools, then Options, then Mail Format tab, then Stationery and Fonts, then Personal Stationery.

Choose your Theme from the drop down list.

Set Font (under Theme button) to Always Use My Fonts

Choose whatever Fonts (and Colors) you want for:
  • New Mail Messages
  • Replying or Forwarding Messages
  • Composing and Reading Plain Text Messages
It was here that I found the Dreaded Yellow Text.

Now that I have fixed it, using Black and Dark Blue fonts, NO MORE DREADED YELLOW TEXT!

(The problem appears to arise when converting from Outlook 2000 to Outlook 2007)
