Yellow signature on replies

Using Outlook on Terminal Server, on certain emails our signatures are coming
up with a yellow font. I've tried changing the setting for Stationary from
None to Blank and back again, that didn't work. We are also not using any
Themes (although, if I change it from No Theme to any other theme, the
signature appears). I have also checked that the font colors are set to Auto
or blue. I have even gone so far as to copy the blank.htm and the related
..gif file from a PC that is working properly.

As many others in this forum say....Help please!

Update - workaround (side note: this happens on Office 2002 and 2003)

I was able to come up with a workaround for this. What I had to do was
manually change the font color of the signature to something other than Auto
or black (I didn't try all of the colors). I ended up using a shade of blue,
which then made the signature visible on the reply email.

So, MVP's, what would cause the color to change from black to yellow if all
of the settings that control the font color are set to the default
installation settings? And, why does this happen on some emails and not
others, even if they come from the same person?

I'm seeing it on an XP machine, not Terminal Services. Otherwise it's
exactly as described. Default or black fints change to yellow in signature
line of some, but not all, responses.

I read somewhere that the "proper" way to create your email signature when
using HTML for your editor is to go into MS Word to create it.

Open Word, go to Tools-Options, General tab, E-Mail Options.

Create your signature there and it will be good to go in Outlook. No yellow
fonts or double spaces. I did this on the ones I was having problems with
and they are all Ok now.
