dragging /copying cell data across multiple worksheets

I want to take the data for a cell location on 12
worksheets (Jan - Dec) to make a new worksheet with
annual totals. I have been doing = (then going to the Jan
worksheet, selecting the cell and enter) I have been
going back and forth between the worksheets that way.
There must be an eaiser way! Please help. THANK YOU

=SUM(Jan:Dec!A4)

Type =SUM(

click the first sheet, hold down shift and select the last sheet, select the
cell and press enter
